SUMMER 2024

At the La Crescenta Hometown Fair, we sold a variety of clothing pieces to raise funds for an impactful cause. Our goal for this event was to fund a book vending machine in Kern County, Bakersfield to raise literacy rates among the migrant rural youth residing in the area. We are proud to share that 100% of our profits and donations were directed to this cause. Thanks to the generous donations and clothing purchases from fairgoers, ORAH successfully raised over $500! This initiative is a big step towards giving these youth brighter futures and greater access to educational resources.
